Caraval 3. Finale

Let me collect my thoughts before diving into this review. Stephanie Garber's writing is truly exceptional and her book series has brought me back to life. The characters' emotions are so palpable that you feel like you are experiencing them yourself. The way Jacks' character is written is so captivating that it's as if he has control over you through the pages of the book. It's bittersweet that the series has ended and it's hard to process that it's over. This has easily become one of my favourite book series, and finishing the book feels like waking up from a dream. The tension between the characters was intense, with their burning desire for each other and their willingness to do anything to keep each other safe. Stephanie Garber's ability to deliver a spectacular ending without any disappointments is remarkable. I held my breath until the very end, fearing that someone would die. The little details she included from the Once Upon a Broken Heart series are exquisite. I'm leaving this review with a lot of love and in loving memory of these wonderful characters. ...weiterlesen

In my opinion, the trilogy couldn't have had any better ending. I read "Finale" almost without break and I was sad when I was through. Once again, the story is very romantic but although I always hated love stories, I loved this one. Because of all the tragedy, death and tears which kept me interested all the time. ...weiterlesen
