This is the first story by T. Kingfisher that I've read and I thought it was amazing!
The style of narration was wittily written – something that just felt right, since the main character is an editor – and very engaging. In my experience a true pageturner. Since I've enjoyed the style and atmosphere so much I've already bought another one of their novels.
I would recommend The Twisted Ones to anyone who enjoys clever writing and horror with Fantasy elements.
