Ahh I love this book! I devoured it in a day, and it was just the perfect heartwarming, cozy and cute read for a one sitting-reading-session. If you love food, historical fiction and novels written in letters, this one's for you! The friendship in this story was so authentic and loveable, even though the two main characters could be mother and daughter - you really believed it and rooted for the two women. And plus, food is not just a very important topic and theme, you also get a lot of great recipes for the dishes they are talking about throughout the story.
