Meine letzte Rezension In the Dream House von Carmen Maria Machado
This beautifully written memoir talks about a very important topic that often gets overlooked; abuse in same-sex relationships. The author shares her experiences of being emotionally and verbally abused in a past relationship. Carmen Maria Machado chose such a beautiful and inventive style to talk about her struggles that the reader is able to fully dive into her mind. The stories about the abuse are written in the second person, which makes for a very intense reading experience.

    This is How You Lose the Time War

A love story between two time-travel agents who fight on opposite sides of a futuristic war told through a series of beautifully crafted letters, co-written by Amal El-Mohtar and Max Gladstone, each writing one of the two protagonists. This Sci-Fi Novel contains very little context or explanation of what is happening and why. But that´s the beauty of it; it doesn´t matter. This book was a deep, emotional, painful, insanely touching experience. I have never read anything like this and i doubt i will ever love another book as much.
