There's some serious (and illegal) pollution near an island near Willow's hometown and her attempts to find the criminals soon become a threat to her life. Enter Duncan, who wants to protect the woman he loves and finally wants to make her realise that their love is worth taking risks... As Janet Chapman's other novels, this book has warmth, humour, likeable characters, and the romance and suspense are both great. I enjoyed this book and would recommend it. It can be read on its own, but it's more fun to have read the first in the series, 'The seductive impostor' first.
