Highlander series 6

S. Fischer am 23.01.2021

Bewertungsnummer: 721387

Bewertet: Buch (Taschenbuch)

Adam Black is a powerful and dangerous fae who likes to meddle not just in fae politics, but also in the fate of mankind. When he decides to help the MacKeltar (in 'The Dark Highlander'), the fae queen punishes him by making him human. But as if losing his powers (time travel, glamour etc.) wasn't bad enough, she makes him invisible and untouchable by humans, so he can't even enjoy the pleasures of a human life. That finally changes when he encounters Gabrielle O'Callaghan, who comes from a family of fae-seers, people who can see through the spells and glamour of the fae. She's less than happy to be noticed by him since the fae capture and keep any fae-seer they recognize. But when it turns out, that some fae are seizing the opportunity of Adam's absence to conspire against the queen and bring about a brutal rule of fae over mankind, the two are forced to work together. In time, animosity turns into attraction and soon into more. But what future can a human woman and a fae have? This is a great title in the Highlander-series, closely connected to the MacKeltar-subgroup. It's a very enjoyable paranormal series and I would definitely recommend it.
