A Corpse for Yew

Because of a drought in North Carolina, Peggy Lee’s Potting Shed is not doing much business. So when her mother asks her to join the Historical Society search at the dried up Lake Whitley, Peggy agrees. However the search brings unexpected result when they stumble across a body, Lois Mullin, who arrived early without informing anyone of her intent. The autopsy reveals Lois had yew in her system, which means she was poisoned. The Police Chief who happens to be the dead woman's nephew also dropped her off at the site. Although it could have been an accident many questions remain unanswered. The members of the Shamrock Historical Society believe it was murder and they put their faith in Peggy to prove them right and to find the killer. She agrees, and as she investigates she finds that her suspects include the nephew, an artefact thief, and even members of the society.
