Dr. Rory Barnes is a researcher in the Astronomy Department and Astrobiology Program at the University of Washington in Seattle. He is an active participant in the theoretical side of one of the hottest topics in astrophysics - the science of exoplanets. He has published numerous papers that consider exoplanets from astrophysical, planetary science, and astrobiological points of view.
