Cutting for Stone A Novel

This book tells the story of twins, who are raised in an hospital in Ethiopia. Their story is not an easy one because their mother is an indian nun and their father a british surgeon, buth are not in the life of the boys. But they are kind of adopted by two other doctors of the hospital. Their whole life is connected to medicine. The practice of medicine in Ethiopia as well as the US are shown, with all the differences and similarities.
