A very good book!

Bewertung am 21.01.2021

Bewertungsnummer: 740133

Bewertet: Buch (Taschenbuch)

"The Ultimate Harry Potter and Philosophy" is the second volume of the two "Harry Potter and Philosophy"-books and is a really good, amusing and thought-provoking book about the whole Harry Potter-series (all seven books, unlike volume 1 which just treats the first 5 books). It is well-written and easy to understand, also for those who have no background in philosophy, and is a pleasure to read. The book explains philosophical principles, problems and theories with the aid of the Harry Potter-story and characters and shows how the storyline is actually pervaded by philosophical and ethical questions the characters are faced with in the course of the books. All in all, a book that any fan of Harry Potter who is also interested in philosophy will like. Just allow plenty of time when you start reading because you won´t want to put the book down!
