Christian Pfister, geboren 1944, ist Professor für Wirtschafts-, Sozial- und Umweltgeschichte an der Universität Bern.
Rüdiger Glaser (Jahrgang 1959) hat an der Universität Würzburg studiert, promoviert und habilitiert. Im Jahr 2001 wurde er auf eine C3-Professur für Physische Geographie an die Universität Heidelberg berufen, seit November 2004 ist er Lehrstuhlinhaber am Institut für Physische Geographie in Freiburg i. Br. Seine Forschungsschwerpunkte liegen in der Klimatologie, in der Global-Change-Forschung, der Umweltplanung und im Bereich der digitalen Verfahren sowie regional in Nordamerika.
