The Editor: Sue McGinty is currently Director of Research at the School of Indigenous Australian Studies, James Cook University, Australia. She has worked in schools, adult education centers, and universities. She currently teaches research methods and trains professionals to be educators. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and has since published in the area of cross cultural education. Her most recent book is Gender, Resilience, and Success at School (Peter Lang, 1999).
