Das Buch ist wirklich schön geschrieben. Für jemanden, der gerne emotionale Bücher liest, ist dieses Buch genau richtig. Es regt zum Denken an und hinterlässt einen spannenden Eindruck. Natürlich ist wichtig, dass es sich um eine Liebesgeschichte handelt, was vielleicht nicht jeden anspricht. Trotzdem ist es nicht zu kitschig, denn die Beziehung steht in Verbindung mit Problemen, Familiengeschichte, aber auch Poesie. Mir hat es sehr gefallen, weil mich die Geschichte interessiert hat und es so verpackt wird, dass man mit dem Lesen nicht aufhören will. Es hat mich vor allem gepackt, weil immer eine Frage offen ist, die man beantwortet haben möchte. Das hat Colleen Hoover wirklich gut verpackt.

It is such a great love story and I couldn’t stop reading this book. In my opinion I think the book is good because it is a series of book and not just one so you are always curious what will happen in the next part. I love Colleen Hoovers’ writing style. I think it’s appropriate for young adults but also for older ones.

After her father’s sudden death Layken has to move to Michigan with her mother and her little brother. She always seems to be the strong one but on the inside she’s fighting to keep up her hope. Then she meet’s her next door neighbor Will and they hit it off immediately. Imagine what a shock It was when Layken realized that they just can’t be together. While both of them are fighting their feelings the only way how they can be truly honest is trough poetry. I loved this book from the very first page. Layken is a truly inspiring character. She had to go through so much and still she’s a strong young woman willing to do everything for her little brother. You can see something similar in Will and that’s probably one of the reasons they get along immediately. I also love the way that poetry adds to the story. Through the poetry slam Will & Lake can have a way to express their feelings without everyone around them knowing. The only thing that I could note as a negative is the fact that it is a bit unrealistic for William and Lake to have such a similar life story. It was my first Colleen Hoover story but it will definitely not be my last. She has a great writing style and relatable/ interesting characters.

Bekommen habe ich jedoch so viel mehr als ich mir erhofft habe. Ich kan gar nicht beschreiben wie gut ich dieses Buch finde. Natürlich sind ihre jetzigen Bücher um einiges besser und mitreißender, doch für ihr Debüt finde ich es spektakulär. Aus dem einfachen Grund welche Message es überbringt und wie man hinein geführt wird.

So eine tolle Serie. Mehrfaches Lesen verdient! Schöne Geschichte und romantisch. Geeignet für jüngere Leser und ältere Leser. Konnte es nicht aus der Hand legen! Lesenswert!
