The voices will tell.

Bewertung (Mitglied der Book Circle Community) am 25.10.2023

Bewertungsnummer: 2052412

Bewertet: Buch (Taschenbuch)

The voices in her head, sometimes only a whisper but mostly loud and clear. She knows what they demand but it’s not the right time yet. One reason why Carl Morck differs from other fictional detectives is that he never plays by the book. Rules are for him a foreign word. He’s not looking to make new friends, he wants to solve the case. Let him do his job and don’t try to interact with him, because he won’t care. That’s one of the reasons why I like this series, the detective’s rough manners are unique but more known are his techniques in crime-solving. I read this book a couple of years ago, it was captivating then and hasn’t lost suspense today. I think Jussi Adler Olsen’s books are perfect to read again and again. You never get tired of that mixed bunch of people in the department Q.
