    Musik (CD)

    zugegeben, ich bin ohnehin…

    zugegeben, ich bin ohnehin seit etlichen jahren schon andras schiff fan. obgleich ich bereits eine aufnahme eines anderen pianisten der diabelli variationen habe und selbst nun reiner hobbyhörer bin (aber intensiv), habe ich mir die Aufnahme von A. Schiff zugelegt, weil seine Interpretationen immer etwas ganz besonderes sind. Auch diese Aufnahme begeistert mich sehr, weil es gleich zwei, von der stimmung her sehr unterschiedliche Sichtweisen auf die Variationen sind: mit Hammer-Klavier und mit dem modernen Pianoforte. Das hat mir nochmal einen ganz anderen Zugang zu dem Zyklus verschafft. Auch die anderen Werke, die auf den beiden CDs sind, runden das Bild sehr gut ab. Ich bin wieder einmal sehr begeistert! (und dazu muss man weder Beethoven noch Schiff-Fan sein :o)

    Das ist eine herausragend…

    Das ist eine herausragend durchdachte und in jeder Hinsicht bezaubernde Aufnahme. Besonders reizvoll ist die Gegenüberstellung des historischen Hammerflügels - soweit zu sehen ist wird das Werk erstmals auf einem Instrument der Entstehungszeit eingespielt - und des ebenfalls schon historischen Konzertflügels. Das Geld für die Doppel-CD ist daher gut investiert.
