Depression is a stage were patient is preoccupied with negative thoughts which affects his efficacy to work & reduces his capacity to focus on cognitive performance. Neuropsychological Deficits(ND) in Depression in LNNB-I describes about ND in depression and an important neuropsychological test battery Luria Nebrasaka Neuropsychological battery-I.The present study was to assess ND in depression and cross validity of 22-items screening test and 15-items screening test were interpreted. From this study it was concluded that depressive were suffering from severe neuro-cognitive deficits. Also this study concludes that 22-items and 15-items selected from LNNB-I were able to identify ND in depressive patients and can be further used as screening tool to identify patients who are in need of detail neurological assessment.Thus this book gives detail descriptions of ND in depression as well as items selected from LNNB-I can be used as screening tools. Book will work as guidance for all researchers working with depressive populations, clinical psychologists and students for not only understanding the cognitive deficits of depression but the deficits with specific items of the LNNB-I scale.
