This book is one big suspense

Bewertungsnummer: 2216113

Bewertet: Buch (Taschenbuch)

No matter how much you try to prevent it, the truth wants to come out or it will haunt you until your last day on earth. Penn Cage’s fight for his family and finding the truth starts anew. This time it seems as if the problems are piling up with no end in sight. As usual, the book begins fluently, new readers of this series might appreciate the summary of past events in Natchez. From there you are right in the middle of it, deep in the swamp of Mississippi. I never felt bored, I enjoyed the storytelling style. I found this book the most emotional of the series, some parts are very brutal and sad. The author’s straightforward manner doesn’t make it easier. Greg Iles describes more than just one case, people who are even connected to the Kennedy assassination. Very well-researched and turned into a plot. As the series isn’t finished yet, I look forward to the next part. I’m sure more open questions will be answered in that one too.
