The Editors: Jerzy J. Smolicz is professor of education at the University of Adelaide. He is the author of several books and articles on multicultural education and is the director of the Centre for Intercultural Studies and Multicultural Education at the University of Adelaide.

Richard J. Watts is professor of English linguistics at the University of Berne. His main publications are in the fields of discourse analysis and sociolinguistics, and he is the editor of the international journal Multilingua: Journal of Cross-Cultural and Interlanguage Communication.
