The story of dreams, love, loss, grief, betrayal, willpower, and attempts to forgive. Brit Bennet has an exceptional writing style. It's the second book by her that I read, and also this time I have the impression that she thinks through thoroughly what she is about to tell us, the readers.

As an avid reader of The NY Times book review I got really excited about Brit Bennett’s second book „the vanishing half“, which I ordered right as it came out.
What can I say?! Loved It - and her style of writing. Read her first „the mothers“ some
Weeks after and have recommended both several times since.
