Unfortunately the genre of Erotica in general does not offer much, beyond the uninspired and explicit short stories. This book is one of the few exceptions. This book does as well contain short stories, yet they don't barely focus on the details of sex and move on. The act of love itself is only described in a few paragraphs. The author focuses on creating erotic imagery of the situation instead; building up an atmosphere enriched by an multitude of details. The author also offers insight in the emotional worlds of her characters.
