Dear Sister

This is adorable! A new little sister can be annoying as our unnamed protagonist knows from the very beginning of this book. Being told by parents to write her a letter for her Baby book then starts a collection of letters telling her just that. How dare she be a typical, annoying baby, then little sister who just wants to play and be like her older brother. In this beautifully illustrated account of being an older brother readers get to come along the journey of growing up and growing closer to your siblings. The way their relationship is portrayed and develops as they grow older is heartwarming to say the least. Great if parents have a son and are pregnant with another and the kid is not amused or impressed by that idea. Or if there’s already an older brother/younger sister dynamic in place and they’re maybe not getting along too well. It’s also just nice to read through if you’re neither a child nor a parent or even a sibling. It’s good. Highly recommend - enjoy!
