Auf New World leben nur noch Männer. Ein tödliches Virus hat alle Frauen vor Jahren umgebracht. Dasselbe Virus hat die Gedanken aller Menschen füreinander hörbar gemacht. Somit ist es niemals ruhig.
Doch Todd stösst draussen im Moor auf einen Fleck Stille.
Als er deswegen fliehen muss, muss er auch alles, woran er glaubt, in Frage stellen.
Mit einem Hund, einem Buch seiner Mutter (das er nicht lesen kann) und einem unbekannten Gast auf dem jungen Planeten kämpft er um mehr als sein ¨Überleben.
Dieser Science-Fiction Thriller ist nicht bloss nervenzerreissend. Er füttert dir ein kleines Geheimnis nach dem anderen, sodass dein Hunger stets grösser wird. So düster und so gut!
Ich bin mehr als begeistert. Zu Beginn braucht es ein wenig Angewöhnung an den Dialekt und die Gedanken der Menschen und Tiere, aber sie machen das Buch wirklich aus.
