Really insightful and inspiring!

Victoria aus Fürth am 12.11.2021

Bewertungsnummer: 1605677

Bewertet: Buch (Taschenbuch)

Really insightful and inspiring! I really liked every essay in this book. Some stories are very personal, others are about, for example, how some marriage laws in the UK are inadequate and how the (Muslim) patriarchy exploits this. The overall message I took away from this collection of stories is that Muslim women need to be strong and fight not only patriarchy within their religious community, but patriarchy in general and also racism/Islamophobia in society. So, an inspiring read for Muslim and non-Muslim readers alike.
