The Love Hypothesis Tiktok made me buy it! The romcom of the year!

Ich hab das Buch innerhalb von ein bis zwei Tagen durchgelesen und finde die love Story aber auch die Erzählweise sehr spannend und mitreißend. Es ist süß, aber auch unfassbar heiß(ich musste zwischendurch immer wieder schmunzeln und kichern)

I can't get enough from Adam and Olive It's a funny and very cute love story and Adams POVs are just chefs kiss. I read the book within 24 hours and couldn't put it down. I definitely recommend

Die Themen wie Medizin und Wissenschaft fand ich einfach super interessant. Ich freue mich jetzt noch mehr auf den Film. Die wissenschaftlichen Begriffe sind unfassbar gut erklärt, sodass man sie tatsächlich auch verstehen kann. Mit dem humorvollen Schreibstil von unserer Rom Com Queen Ali Hazelwood musste ich manchmal richtig lachen, weil wir hier zwei sehr intelligente Protagonisten haben, die gleichzeitig auch absolut tollpatschig sind. Diesen Mix finde ich unglaublich erfrischend. Adam und Olive sind zusammen einfach Zucker. Auch die Nebencharaktere mochte ich sehr gerne. Adam hat einen unfassbar grossartigen Charakter. Er hat so viele Facetten, was ihm richtig Tiefe gibt, und wie er sich um Olive kümmert Mir haben auch die beiden Kapitel aus seiner POV sehr gefallen. Olive mit ihrer frechen und klugscheisserischen Art liebe ich einfach. Sie ist unglaublich selbstlos und versucht, dass alle ihre Freunde glücklich sind, selbst wenn sie dafür alles opfern würde. Das erinnert mich sehr an Andrea und Thea, weil auch sie jeden Erfolg ihrer Freunde so feiern, als wäre es ihr eigener. Liebe ist ein wunderbares und hochkomplexes System. ’

Eines meiner liebsten Ali Hazelwood Bücher! Wie immer sehr witzig, süss, romantisch und trotzdem werden wichtige Themen aufgegriffen. In einem Tag durchgelesen und eine absolute Empfehlung für einen “Feelgood” Moment. Ihre Bücher sind auf Deutsch sehr gut, aber auf Englisch wird der Humor noch deutlich besser transportiert.

It couldn’t be better. The book perfectly blends real life and fiction. The story takes place at a university in America. Olive, a 26-year-old student, wants her best friend to start a relationship with the love of her life. However, she is hesitant because the love of her live is Olive’s ex-boyfriend. For this reason, Olive came up with the idea of claiming she has a new boyfriend and that it’s no problem for her. When Olive claims she’s going on a date, but she’s actually going to the lab to work and her best friend suddenly shows up, Olive kisses the first guy she can find, and like that the whole fake relationship begins. I like the story because it seems relatable and (almost) real. I felt connected to the protagonist several times because of the decisions she made. There were also plot twists that I didn’t expect, which made the whole thing even more exciting. The book also deals well with the topic of self-confidence and the fact that you don’t have to put up with everything. The relationship is also impressive. The “partner’s” consent is always asked for, as it should be in relationships. I think it’s wonderful to read how the author thought about this and shows readers that this should be a natrual part of a relationship. My conclusion: I think it’s a very good book. The English is easy to understand (should be readable from B2 level upwards). I recommend the book to anyone who is pursuing a (work) goal and doesn’t always find it easy. It gives you strength and courage to achieve your dreams.
