    Buch (Gebundene Ausgabe)

    Just as expected

It was exactly like you expected it to be if you already knew Daniel Sloss as a comedian. it was dark and clever. Even though I did not agree with everything, the author said it was still a good read. I can really recommend this book because many unusual questions are asked. They got me to overthink some concepts I established.

    Buch (Gebundene Ausgabe)

    Crude, Dark and Insightful

„I’m twenty-nine years old, and I have signed five separate divorce papers. None of them were mine.“ If you are a fan of comedy, especially the dark kind, you might already have heard of Scottish comedian Daniel Sloss. In that case, this book will be exactly what you’d expect. If not, be aware that it is very dark and crude. Over the course of nine chapters, Sloss gives his opinion on all kinds of relationships, ranging from those with toxic exes, family and friends to those with specific countries. Even though this book is not meant to be a self-help book, it does give good advice occasionally and frequently made me stop and think, „He’s got a point there. I’ve never thought about it like that.“ I loved both Sloss‘ Neflix specials and was lucky enough to see „X“ live, so I knew very well what I could expect, going into this. I enjoyed it, but I have to say, that it is as obnoxious at it is entertaining. I think, I would have loved it more if I’d listened to it on audiobook, preferably if read by himself.
