Die hier ausgewählte Sammlung von einfachen Cello-Stücken eignet sich primär für Aufführungen, die Musikschulen gewöhnlich als Vorspiel-Veranstaltungen organisieren. Zielgruppe sind Anfänger und leicht Fortgeschrittene des Faches Violoncello. Schüler und Lehrer treten gemeinsam im Duett auf. Die einfach gehaltene Stimme VC1 gehört vorzugsweise dem Schüler, die meist deutlich kompliziertere Stimme VC2 dem Lehrer, selbstverständlich kann man tauschen. Der für Anfänger gewöhnlich begrenzte Tonvorrat ist eine besondere Herausforderung beim Setzen einfacher Stücke: Der Autor hat einer einfachen Schülerstimme ein wohlklingendes Thema oder kleinere Läufe überlagert und dadurch erreicht, daß Schüler- und Lehrerstimme eine durchaus anspruchsvolle Einheit bilden.
Die Sammlung eignet sich als abwechslungsreiche, phantasievolle Ergänzung des bestehenden Lehrmaterials. Zu jedem Titel gibt es eine kleine Einführung sowie die Angabe des Schwierigkeitsgrades und des Tonvorrates der Schülerstimme VC1.
This collection of easy cello pieces is primarily intended for performance at students' recitals organized by music schools. The target group are beginners and slightly advanced players of the violoncello. Students and teachers perform together as partners in a duet. The easier part VC1 is to be played by the student, part VC2 by the teacher - of course, it is also possible to swap parts. Given the limited range of notes mastered by beginners, arrangers of music often face particular challenges in the setting of simple pieces. For the student, I have created an easy-to-play part and have added to this a more melodious theme or short runs of notes in the teacher's part, thereby achieving a harmonious and pleasing effect.
The present collection is intended to add fresh and imaginative pieces to the available body of teaching material. Each title is preceded by a short introduction, including information on the tone range and grade of difficulty of the student part VC1.
