I bought this notebook thinking that the cover was made of some kind of leatherette material and that the white 'Notizbuch' binding would come away leaving just the material and what I thought was a band to hold the book together. I was rather shocked then, when I got the notebook and it was just the image that you see on website printed on card: no nice material, no elastic holder and no detachable info card. Of course, I should have checked the details closer and it is cheap, but I do feel that the manufacturer is trying to trick you with the picture of the nice material and the black band. The book itself is fine with very nice writing paper, suitable for fountain pens, but I wouldn't have bought it knowing the cover was such as it is.
