She Served As Senior Research Fellow In Agricultural Extension, Coimbatore In The Scheme "Action Research On Designing Effective Communication Strategies In The System Of Broad Based Agricultural Extension" And Also In "TN-IAMWARM" Project In TNAU For The Period Of Three Years. She Performed As Technical Officer In Godrej Pest Management Services And Technical And Marketing Coordinator In Carees Industries, A Micronutrient Company. She Had Participated In 17 National And International Seminars/Workshops/ Conferences And Presented Research Papers. Secured Best Paper And Best Presentation Awards In Her Credit For Her Presentations. Published More Than 30 Research Papers, Popular Articles, Research Abstracts In Various Reputed Journals And Seminars. She Has Been Closely Associated With Professional Societies Of Her Discipline As Member At National And International Level. She Authored A Book On Agro Enterprises For Empowering Farm Women And Co-Author Of The Book Participatory Technology Development. She Associated As Student Researcher For Her Ph.D Program And As Research Associate In The International Collaborative Research Project On "Precision Farming For Enhancing The Livelihood Security Of Farmers" With Dalhousie University, Canada Funded By SHASTRI Indo Canadian Institute, New Delh Dr.T.Rathakrishnan Professor (Agrl. Extension) Obtained His Masters And Ph.D From TNAU, Coimbatore With A Gold Medal For Distinction In Ph.D. He Has Been Serving The University For 34 Years In Various Capacities In The Regional Research Stations And Constituent Colleges Of TNAU. As Director, Students Welfare (2009-2013) Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore, He Has Initiated The Effort Of Dual Degree Programme At Under Graduate Level With, Dalhousie University, NOVA SCOTIA, Agricultural College Campus, CANADA. Introduced The Business English Certificate (BEC) Programme For The Benefit Of Students. Published Fifteen Books, More Than 200 Research, Popular Articles And Abstracts In Seminar/ Symposium. Presented Papers Both At National & International Seminars. Visited IFPRI, Washington (Collaborative Project On TOT) And University Of Reading UK (PGDRD&E Program). He Is A Research Supervisor For 28 M.Sc. And Four Ph.D Scholars. He Is A Member Of Several National And International Professional Societies And Currently Acting As Secretary, Extension Education Society, TNAU, Coimbatore As Second Term. Currently Operating The International Collaborative Research Project As Indian Coordinator On "Precision Farming For Enhancing The Livelihood Security Of Farmers" With Dalhousie University, Canada Funded By SHASTRI Indo Canadian Institute, New Delhi.
