Annoying heroine.

Okay. I really like Rina Kent and have read the majority of her books but haven't had an heroine this annoying. She was just SO weak, naive and annoying. She kept gasping, squeaking, and squealing. Was constantly breathless, stammering, shaking and trembling. I understand wanting to give a character some “flaws” to make them more troubled or relatable, but this was just not it. There were a few awkward AF moments between her and Nate, especially at the start. Their banter made me cringe so hard. I had major secondhand embarrassment reading some of those scenes. Nate on the other hand was okay. He was rude and not nice at first but after it grew on me.
