Plotwise, this book is rather different from her „A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder“ trilogy, but just as exciting. The story had me intrigued from page one and kept me guessing until the very end. Knowing from the start that the main character might not be the most reliable of characters somehow made the story even more riveting. I was as enthralled as I was surprised about how brutal this story turned out to be, but loved it all the same. We get to know the characters only slowly and apart from the secrets that are revealed, mostly on a surface level. There are some I desperately wanted to turn out to be the good guys, some I wasn‘t entirely sure about and one I just loved to hate with a passion. I don’t know what that says about me, but I am a big fan of the ending. I just wish the author hadn’t left us with so many unanswered questions. What about the vote? What about the consequences? What about the aftermath of everything that came to light in the RV? I’ll definitely keep my fingers crossed for a sequel. If you are a fan of high-stakes thrillers that not only play mind games with their readers but are also pretty bloody, you should definitely read „Five Survive“. Recommended for readers aged 14 and up. It’s probably not a book you’d want to bring on a roadtrip, though – provided you value a good night of sleep, of course.

Das Buch war von Anfang an sehr spannend und packend. Es hatte mehrere "Plots" im Buch und vieles kam sehr unerwartet. Ich würde das Buch gleich wieder kaufen und lesen. Wie alle Holly Jackson Bücher, welche ich bis jetzt gelesen habe, ist es absolut perfekt.

viele plotwists bleibt bis zum Ende spannend zieht den Leser in die geschichte rein,als ich es gelesen habe ,habe ich mich gefühlt als ob ich dort sei.Ich musste einfach weiter lesen um zu wissen was danach passiert.Ich empfehle es 100 % auch wenn sich der Anfang ein bisschen zieht

Holly Jackson überzeugt erneut durch ihren mitreißenden Schreibstil und eine spannende Geschichte, die es einem erlaubt vollkommen in die Story einzutauchen und mitzufiebern. Ich konnte zu Beginn nicht einschätzen was auf mich zukommen wird, aber bereits nach ein paar Seiten wollte ich das Buch nicht mehr aus der Hand legen. Eine klare Empfehlung meinerseits für (YA-)Thriller-Liebhaber:innen auf der Suche nach Unterhaltung durch eine spannende Geschichte, realistische Charaktere und Plottwists!

Dieses Buch gehört definitiv zu den Büchern die man entweder liebt oder hasst. Ich habe es geliebt! Das einzige was ich kritisieren könnte ist red, ich fand sie etwas merkwürdig. Ich finde es auch total schade, dass es keinen zweiten Band gibt, da noch einiges aufgeklärt werden sollte, was hat es sich auf sich mit Reds Vater? Hat sich Red mit Arthur noch getroffen? Was ist mit Simon und Reyna passiert nach diesem Geschehen? Holly Jackson ist bekannt für offene Enden, deswegen bezweifele ich sehr, dass wir einen zweiten Teil erhalten werden, aber eventuell eine Serie/Film irgendwann, wie A good girls guide to murder!
