Interesting, approachable but too long

Some ideas in this book were really interesting and I liked the humourous an approachable way they were delivered. However it felt like the book could have been much shorter as many statements were repeated. That made it a bit though to read. So I wouldn't recommend the book to everyone but if you're interested in the topic and don't mind to maybe skip a few passages it could be a good read for you.

I have started reading this with the Leserunde here and continued it with my partner as audiobook. Although my partner and I did not finish the book together I just felt the need to finish this book at this point. I wish I kept it more up to date and read it more frequently but I have neglected it a little over time - also because of the many things you are able to try out in the book! It is certainly not something you are meant to read in one go and shelve it and forget about it. I like to think about it as a filled in notebook with little tips, tricks and help in regards of, well, love. I am glad I have read this as my first book from Jay Shetty and will continue on with his book “think like a monk”. The book itself starts very strong and kept me hook all up to half of its contents but later on it felt a little repetitive. It gave my partner and I great opportunities to talk about certain things, replan or reschedule other things in and about our lives together and also individually. Bonus: The audiobook is being read by Jay Shetty himself which also is a delightful plus!
