Io ist die jüngste von dreien. Das in dieser Welt bedeutet sie vom Schicksal abstammen. Sie kann die Schicksalsfäden sehen und kann auch diese durchtrennen. Sie nutzt ihre Gabe als Privatermittlerin. Bei einem Fall läuft ihr jemand über den Weg, dessen Lebensfaden durchtrennt ist. Das kann es nicht geben und so macht sie sich auf die Suche nach dem Ursprung. Edei soll ihr helfen. Man taucht gleich ab und ist mitten drin im Geschehen. Neben der Jagd auf die Annomalie. Bekommt man auch interessante Geschichte über die Familie von Io erzählt. Auch die Anziehungskraft zwischen ihr und Edei ist spannend. Dann alles ist miteinander verbunden. Die Schicksalsfäden sind überall, manchmal weiß man nicht genau, was es zu bedeutet an. Io ist vielschichtig und verrät einem nicht alles über sich. Genauso geht es mit Edei. Etwas Romantik ist in der Geschichte, doch die Schicksalsfäden sind im Mittelpunkt. Die Welt ist eigentlich nur die Stadt. Mehr sieht man nicht. Ab und zu wird einem etwas erzählt. Doch die ganze Geschichte spielt nur in der Stadt. Allerdings macht es das nicht eintönig. Im Gegenteil es ist vielschichtig und zeigt uns einige interessante Stellen. Manchmal hat es sich für mich gezogen und die Spannung war weg. Bis wir uns dem Ende des Buches näherten. Dort wurde ich total überrascht. Neben Wendungen, die mich geschockt haben, kam Action und Spannung auf. Gefesselt verfolgt man die letzten Seiten und kann es nicht weglegen. Man fragt sich was auf der nächsten Seite auf einen wartet. WOW, jetzt will ich wissen was in Band zwei kommt.
