Twisted 2. Twisted Games

After being a little disappointed by Twisted Love, I had low expectations for the next book. Luckily, "Twisted Games" exceeded my expectations. I'm so glad I read it, as it immediately went on my list of favorite books. I devoured it in one night, obsessing over every page of Bridget and Rhys's story. The plot was consistently exciting; I never thought it was slow-paced. I especially enjoyed the political intrigues and how Bridget fought against them. The bodyguard subplot was also brilliantly executed. However, what I loved most were the characters Bridget and Rhys themselves. Their story was so beautiful, and they both are among my all-time favorite protagonists.

Twisted Games von Ana Huang ist ein fesselnder und emotionaler Roman, der die perfekte Mischung aus Spannung, Leidenschaft und tiefgründiger Charakterentwicklung bietet. Die Geschichte folgt der komplexen Beziehung zwischen der Prinzessin und ihrem bodyguard, die von Anfang an von unerwarteten Wendungen und intensiven Gefühlen geprägt ist. Huang gelingt es, die Chemie zwischen den Protagonisten auf jeder Seite greifbar zu machen, während sie gleichzeitig Themen wie Macht, Verantwortung und Verlangen meisterhaft erkundet. Ein Muss für Fans von Romance mit einer Prise Drama und viel Herz.

"Twisted Games" is the second book in the twisted series. It´s about Bridget and Rhys. The princess of Eldorra and her bodyguard. I really liked the plot and how the storyline develops throughout the book. It was magical and full of love. How works love in a royal family? Is a marriage of love possible or should a princess marry someone of royal blood? This book shows how important it is to fight for love and I was all in for that! It was just beautiful. Little note: You can read the books in the twisted series independently of each other.
