I tired of the many, many gay sex scenes and objectifications, but then I've never been a boy that age and it may just be a very realistic depiction of a boy's mind that age. Ellis knows what he is doing. The writing is very, very good. The ending is ambiguous enough to leaves room for speculation. It is creepy. The narrator has good taste in music btw; if I reread I'll make a playlist with the music references. You could do worse than pick this up!
