Das Buch ist inhaltlich toll und perfekt für Fans der Reihe. Ich habe diese Version aufgrund des Covers bestellt. Leider ist die Qualität schlecht. Das Cover ist etwas kleiner als die Seiten so dass diese etwas hervor schauen. Das Papier ist sehr dünn und reißt schnell. Mein Buch hatte leider bereits eine Knickspur im Buchrücken, als ob es einmal komplett geöffnet und dieser gebrochen wurde. Also vom Inhalt sehr zu empfehlen, aber man sollte lieber eine andere Version kaufen. Diese ist nichts für Sammler die Wert auf ein gutes Produkt legen.

I really enjoyed this book. This is not a romance! I know this book is listen on many enemies to lovers lists but this is NOT a romance book! If you go into it expecting a great love story or redemption ark you will be greatly disappointed. Point of this book is to show how little by little, using fear and propaganda as weapons anyone's morals can be skewed. How ordinary people become spectators that cheer on the gruesome murders of the innocent children.

If you go into it expecting a great love story or redemption ark you will be greatly disappointed. It was achingly beautiful to dive into the world of the Hunger Games once again. Even though Lucy Gray's story takes place 60 years before Katniss and Peeta's, it was just as impressive, but also overwhelming. Seeing how the first Hunger Games were held and how they evolved over time was intense and further highlighted just how perverse and fascinating the entire concept is. I particularly enjoyed the insight into Coriolanus Snow, his life and thoughts, and his development. You can clearly see how he became the person he is at the beginning of the original trilogy. The sidecharacters were also interesting and added variety to the story. The entire plot was once again incredibly written and captivated me as a reader from beginning to to end, while also prompting reflection. The ending, in particular, left me speechless!
