Night Shift by Annie Crown is a college romance and the story of Kendall and Vincent.   Kendall is a book lover, and I could immediately relate to her. She literally has the dream job of working a night shift in the campus library and it’s usually not very busy so she can use the time to read. That is until she must help the basketball star player Vincent one night and it ends with them having a kiss between the bookshelves. And this beginning scene is the perfect beginning to this adorable story.   Both Vincent and Kendall are not very experienced with relationships, and they slowly grow into one. There were so many amazing scenes involving poetry and I was living for them. Vincent is also not the cliché player, and he is super sweet and a cinnamon roll hero. I feel like this book is a manifestation of a romantic scenario a lot of us dream about in college times and therefore it felt like a nostalgic and heartwarming book, and I loved it.   Overall, Night Shift is the perfect book for all new adult lovers. 4,5 stars.   (ARC kindly provided in exchange for a review.)

Ich hab‘s irgendwie geliebt es gibt jetzt keine große Storyline, aber der Schreibstil ist (vor allem für ihr erstes Buch) wirklich gut, die Charaktere sind realitätsnah, deren Handlungen sind nachvollziehbar und die Spannung zwischen den beiden Hauptdarstellern ist genau so wie ich es mag.
