Going in, I expected a gender swapped Princess Diaries and at first that was what I got. But sadly the first few chapters are the best and after that its really boring and bland because nothing happens whatsoever. No character developement because our protagonist is basically a cardboard cutout who does everything right and has no problems with adjusting to his new life. Everyone else is very nice, has no problems either and just loves him. Suddenly discovering that their king had an affair and a child with said affair is accepted by the people of the country - no critics, no nothing, the press loves him. The biggest hiccup is his love interests grandma not accepting their relationship - which is resolved within 2 pages. All in all - if you expect a page-turner and chemistry and romance DO NOT LOOK HERE. If you look for the blandest vanilla story - this is it.
