Wow was für ein Buch!
Slowburn aber nie langweilig. Die Besessenheit war erst ab ca 50% des Buches ein Thema aber der Aufbau der Geschichte, des Settings, der Charaktere, bis dahin waren grossartig.
Ein paar Stichpunkte, die für mich die Geschichte ausmachen:
- Erzäht aus zwei Perspektiven, Alba und Elias
- Setting: Lateinamerika, Hazienda die zu einer Mine gehört
- Lovestory: war nicht zu sehr im Fokus, hat sich perfekt ins Bild eingefügt, 1 von 5 auf der Spicescala
- Starke Frau; female Rage
- Blutig, brutal gegen Ende
- Atmosphärisch und düster
- Schreibstil war sehr schön, poetisch, ohne zu dick aufzutragen oder schwer zu lesen
