I think anyone who spends a lot of time on Instagram or TikTok will eventually come across Elle Kennedy's Off Campus series. I'd been eyeing the books for ages, then I spontaneously decided to give the first one a chance. And honestly, I'm so glad I did! For me, the book had everything it needed. Great, complex characters who felt incredibly authentic. A palpable chemistry between the protagonists. A beautiful setting, a hockey team that loves each other like a family, and so much more. I absolutely fell in love with Hannah and Garret; they were just too cute together! "The Deal" was a pleasant surprise for me; I hadn't expected to enjoy it so much. Even so, I devoured the book in one evening because I simply couldn't put it down. It was also super easy to read in English, and I immediately had to get book two afterwards.

If I´m being honest , I didn´t expect much from this book. I thought I would just read it for fun and see for myself what all the fuss is about. But i was completely hooked from the beginning and the book surprised me very positively. Garrett and Hannah were such great characters, I loved reading them, especially reading them together, and had super much fun. It´s an easy read and I think it´s the best thing against reading-slumps. I just read it in one sitting and loved it!
