Its superiority, like other optical instruments, is most apparent at long ranges when the object cannot be distinctly discernible by the naked eye; no sight ever invented in gunnery affords more pleasure, satisfaction and accuracy, either for hunting game, target practice or 'rebel shooting', than the 'telescopic'. The more it is used and understood, the more it will be appreciated and come into general practice.
