Im madly in love with this book, im a huge fan of Rachel Lacey and i can proudly say so far i have read all her lgbtqi books. This one climbed fast far on the top of my favorite books of her and in general. I loved the story line so much, we meet Marin and Charlotte and follow then on ther path from first meet, whitness one of their most horible days and than follow along their shared story. Marin was in a loveless marriage, after she break the tie she wants to do what she wanted to do for a while, date a woman. Little did she know that she would meet the one who catched her eyes years ago in a small town up north. Charlotte also wanted to change her life, she gives her small hometown in Vermont another shot and cant believe she sees the woman whos story hunted her the last few years again. While they become friends and later more, they also struggel their own demons of the past. I loved the may suprises, the twist and the turns. This story was soooo well written as all Rachel Lacey books. For me this one was super refreshing, so many times you have the classic storylines you read over and over again. While sure everyone has certain troppes they love i like to read storylines i havent read before, meet people who are perfect imperfect, who struggel who have a deepth and life. Who are not 20 something and picture perfect. This hit all the right spots for me and i cant wait for more Rachel Lacey books.
