I was really excited to read Holy Boy because I’m a bit of a K-pop fan myself :D So I was even happier when I finally got the chance to pick it up. The story follows four women who are obsessed with a K-pop idol and eventually decide to kidnap him. However, each of them has her own motives, and before long, their plan starts to spiral out of control. Along the way, the novel explores fandom, obsession, and the darker side of idol culture. I found this book really fascinating. It was something completely different from what I usually read and, at times, a little weird, but that’s exactly why I enjoyed it so much. I never really knew where the story was going next, which kept me hooked until the very end. Overall, I really enjoyed Holy Boy. If you’re looking for something unique and don’t mind a slightly strange story, I’d definitely recommend giving it a try.
