Das Buch When in Rome war super ! Es war nicht zu spicy aber doch an manchen Stellen interessant… Mir kam es so vor als ob sich manche Stellen zu weit gezogen haben aber das war oke. Das Ende ist so gut und ich freu mich den 2 Teil der Serie zu lesen Practise makes perfect. Viele Leute sagen das der 2 Teil sogar noch besser als der erste ist Sahra Adams hat ein guten Job geleistet!

Ein herrliches Buch, welches eine Auszeit vom Alltag beschehrt. Man geht in eine Kleinstadt, Rome in Kentucky. Ich muss sagen, ich habe zu dem Buch gegriffen, weil ich dachte, es geht um Rom in Italien.. aber das Ganze hat auch etwas mit dem italienischen Rom zu tun, ihr müsst selber herausfinden, was! Die Kleinstadtvibes sind absolut vorhanden und die Bewohner wirklich super süss. Die Protagonistin, eine ausgebrannte Sängerin ist wirklich am Limit und es ist schön zu lesen, wie sie aufblüht und in der anonymität wieder das Leben geniessen kann. Mir haben die Vibes der beiden sehr gut gefallen, auch wenn ich finde, dass sie zu schnell Feuer und Flamme füreinander waren, da hätte ich es gerne mehr distanziert gehabt. Andernfalls finde ich es einen schönen Reihenauftakt, einen angehnemen Schreibstil von dem ich sehr gerne wieder lesen möchte.

Die Story ist nicht wahnsinnig originell oder kompliziert, hat aber großen Unterhaltungswert, vor allem die Dialoge zwischen Amelia und Noah. Sprachlich locker-flockig und amüsant zu lesen, am liebsten in einem Rutsch. Das vorprogrammierte Happy-End wird erst über Umwege erreicht, es bleibt also bis zum Schluss auf angenehme Weise spannend.

I loved all the interactions between them, how noah tried to shake amelia off multiple times by neglecting her and her being so delulu to love the neglaction.
