With over 30 years of experience in health governance and digital innovation, he holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence in Medicine. He has advised organizations like the World Bank, WHO, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation on health, technology, and governance. A pioneer in applying AI to systems medicine, he contributed to initiatives such as Healthy China 2030 and the EU AI Act. He is involved in developing ethical AI standards and promotes societal value in AI applications. Dr. Kalogeropoulos chairs IEEE programs on AI for Public Health and Climate-Resilient Systems, and advises startups and global organizations on digital transformation.
