These Twisted Bonds the spellbinding conclusion to the stunning fantasy romance These Hollow Vows

Ein grandioser 2. Teil, der so viel Spaß gemacht hat. Ich konnte das Buch nicht aus der Hand legen und habe es innerhalb von 24 Stunden durchgesuchtet. Die Welt war so märchenhaft schön, dass ich mich absolut in ihr verloren habe. Die Story war unvorhersehbar und spannend auf jeder Seite, die Charaktere super interessant. Es steckte so viel Herz und Liebe in der Geschichte. Ich fand’s einfach ganz großartig und bin ein bisschen traurig, dass es jetzt vorbei ist.

I am so thankful that I got an ARC of this book because after the cliffhanger of book one I really needed to know how things will continue. I read this book in one sitting and I can’t wait to have it on my shelf. It’s still a perfect mixture of ACoTaR and Cruel Prince and I liked the character dynamics a lot. I would say that this book is a bit spicier than book one. There were some parts that I wished would have gotten a bit more plot time but anyways I still love this series and will still recommend it to my friends. Conclusion A really good conclusion to an awesome series! Perfect for fans of ACoTaR and Cruel Prince!

These Twisted Bonds is the sequel of Lexi Ryans new fantasy series. After Brie (Abriella) was betrayed by everyone she loved and trusted, she finds herself caught between not only two lovers but also a brewing civil war in her country Faerie. Ryan captured me again. I absolutely loved her first book “These Hollow Vows”. The way she writes about the characters and makes the story so easy to get into, was something that made me fall in love with her books. Ryan continued her great job in this sequel. The character developments were absolutely amazing. Bries inner conflicts about love and politics were well portrayed, the struggles shes having with both Sebastian and Finn undid me. Im a sucker for love triangles and Ryan did SUCH AN AMAZING JOB. I love how she put the focus on the characters while adding more and more to the plot. This book was a top read and if you’ve liked These Hollow Vows, you’ll absolutely love These Twisted Bonds. These Twisted Bonds will be available on 19th July 2022. Do yourself a favor and preorder it now. You wont regret it.

Brie ist mit Sebastian verbunden und fühlt, was er fühlt. Und sie ist nun eine Fae und empfindet alles viel extremer. Aber sie selbst fühlt sich verraten und flieht. Da sie aber auch von Finn enttäuscht wurde, weiß sie nicht wohin. Als sie ein Trupp mit gefangenen Kindern antrifft, versucht sie sie zu befreien und bekommt unerwartete Hilfe. Misha, der König der wilden Fae nimmt sie unter seine Fittiche, aber kann sie je wieder einem Fae vertrauen? Und wie kann man das Land vor dem Untergang retten? Wir folgen Brie, die wirklich Probleme hat, eine Fae zu sein und von dem Mann verraten worden zu sein, den sie liebt. Aber so langsam lernt sie ihre Fähigkeiten kennen und nähert sich wieder Finn und seiner Truppe an. In diesem Zuge lernt sie auch sehr viel über ihre Herkunft, und wieso sie diese Macht überhaupt hat. Diese Entwicklung ist sehr schön zu sehen und auch wenn sie ab und an noch kindlich handelt, wird sie eine starke Frau, die sich nimmt, was ihr zusteht. Sebastian ist schwierig zu greifen, da er alles hat, was er wollte und dabei ist das zu verlieren, was er am meisten liebt und wird dadurch irrational. Finn findet sich immer mehr mit der Rolle ab, dass er nicht König wird, und als er die Wahrheit kennt, ist er bereit alles aufzugeben. Misha ist erhaben und witzig und die Dynamik zwischen ihm und Brie ist echt gut. Da hätte man auch mehr mit spielen können. Die Abenteuer und Aufgaben sind wieder spannend, nachvollziehbar und nicht zu lange. Aber am Ende war wieder alles ganz einfach und alle bekommen, was sie verdienen. Insgesamt eine schöne Dilogie, die mich fesselnd konnte. Und auch wenn die meisten Protagonisten sehr sehr sehr alt sind, ist es ein schönes Young Adult-Fantasybuch.
