I don't think I will ever fully recover from this book like I will never be the same. The pain Rebecca has put us through was insane! I'm not recommending this book to anyone unless you wanna cry your eyes out for days!!

I've never read a book from Rebecca Yarros before and therefore had no idea what I've gotten myself into. The characters as well as the scenery are well written and you're within the story right from the start. The story has some twist and turns and has you crying several times. I'ts definitely a must read for all the drama-romance-lovers out there.

Emotional Damage...

Bewertet: Buch (Taschenbuch)

I cannot begin to describe how this book affected me in every possible way. "The Last Letter" is different from Rebecca Yarros' fantasy series. It is romance on another level. This book is about Ella MacKenzie, and her two kids, Maisie and Colt. Ella's brother Ryan is in the military, working on the borders of a dangerous war. He asks his sister to be the pel pan from his best friend, Beckett. Ella and Beckett develop a special bond through their letters, but suddenly Ryan dies and his last wish for Beckett is to look out for his sister and her two kids. The lies between them make their journey tough and devastating. I loved this book with every fiber in my being. I did not expect much diving in, because I did not know what awaited me. This book was so beautifully written and perfectly devastating. Ella and Beckett were deep characters with whom you could feel together and sympathize. They had a deep, meaningful connection which affected me so much. Beckett's relationship with Ella's kids was so beautiful, I couldn't even begin to describe how much I fell for them. This story is a tragedy. I was left crying and sobbing at the end of this book, but I could not stop thinking about it since. Definitely recommend it but do prepare for heartache and emotional devastation... :')
