Books, Iced Coffee & a Side of Dragons A Graphic Novel

I wanted to start this review with the words "I think I just went to cozy heaven," but that isn't quite true because heaven would be if this universe were reality. Of course, I don't want to include any spoilers here, but I think bookshop + coffee shop (+ seaside town) = big cozy vibes and my ideal existence. I enjoyed the characters (and especially the dragons), the slice-of-life storyline, the art, and the queer rep. Big shout-out to George, because people deserve to discover their queer identities at any age! I've seen people comment that the story feels disjointed, which might bother some people, but I honestly didn't mind the episodic style at all. Considering this was advertised as a cozy, sweet summer romance in which the characters try to save a bookshop and fall in love, the style fit very well in covering the summertime and portraying the passage of time. A summer can be such a short time, but also filled with so many memories!
