Portrait

Dr. Seshadrinath obtained a PhD in Electric Motors and Drives from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi in 2013. He held a teaching position at BITS Pilani in 2014, before being offered a Research Fellow position at Rolls Royce @ NTU Corporate Lab, Nanyang Technological University, where he remained until 2016. He continued his teaching career at the Indian Institute of Technology Roorke, where currently he also holds the following administrative positions: Associate Dean Infrastructure (Electrical and AC) and Founder Advisor for IEEE IAS SB Chapter. He is a prolific author and has been a senior member of IEEE since 2019. His research interests focus on electrical machines and power electronic drives; drivetrain for electric vehicles;,diagnosis and prognosis of electrical machines and drives; AI in electric drives; design, development, and prototyping of transformer-less grid connected PV inverters; renewable energy systems.

Dr. Rosas-Caro is a Professor at the Universidad Panamericana in Guadalajara (Mexico) and has also been a visiting scholar at Michigan State University, the University of Colorado, Ontario Tech, and the University of Sheffield. He is an associate/academic editor of IEEE Latin America Transactions and International Transactions on Electrical Energy Systems. His research interests include power electronics, CD-DC converters, AC-AC converters, FACTS devices, their applications, and numerical optimization. He is also a Senior Member of the IEEE, a member of the IET, Sigma Xi, and of the National System of Researchers of Mexico.

Dr. Dhaked is a power systems professional with more than 5 years of hands-on experience in R&D and engineering and project management in the electrical power systems (transmission and distribution) and renewable energy businesses. He currently holds a CHANAKYA fellowship by the IHUB Anubhuti-IIIT Delhi. Hosted by the Department of Electrical Engineering, of the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, he conducts techno-economic feasibility studies involving steady-state and dynamic modeling and analysis of power systems including microgrids, power flow and renewable generation interconnection, HVDC systems, and power electronic converters.

With a strong research background and a successful track record of working on projects sponsored by local venture funds, Dr. Sharma has gained proficiency in various domains, including path planning, trajectory planning, trajectory controlling, driver behavior prediction, collision estimation, identification of model biases, and autonomous vehicle development. With a strong analytical mindset and a commitment to advancing the future of mobility, he continues to contribute to the development of intelligent transportation systems whose safety and efficiency is enhanced through data analysis, software programming, deep learning, and artificial intelligence.

Dr. Narayanan is currently a Post-Doctoral Fellow under the supervision of Prof. Santosha K. Dwivedy, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati in the domain of underwater technology enhanced by AI, ML, IoT, and sensors. In 2022, he obtained his PhD at the Department of Design and Automation, Vellore Institute of Technology, where he worked in the fields of artificial intelligence, renewable energy, and digital hydraulics.
