THE first part of this book titled the Time Between the old and New Testaments gives a fascinating account of the history of the inter-testamental period that comes from the apocrypha which is a separate account of events in Palestine after the seleucids had taken control there. A book with historical and theological interest. the possible motive of writing the book could be to dispel the misrepresentation of students of Bible prophecies with a careful presentation of various points of view in a fair manner where there are differences of christian opinion about the character and interpretation of biblical texts. To be relevant to life, bible prophecies must be clearly understood especially in the highly symbolic books of Daniel and the Revelation. Therein revealed is the Antichrist standing in relation to the first advent of Christ. As with other books this volume is illustrated, and includes maps, time charts and suggestions for further discussion and study as well as a glossary. they broaden their concepts of understanding key apocalyptic prophecies of the book of Daniel, one aspect found disappointing is the way Daniel 8:9 and 11:2-45 are interpreted, the little horn of Daniel eight is not Roman but Grecen. Highly recommended is this rewarding text specially and specifically to all who claim that these are the times of the end and that prophecies of Daniel have been fully unveiled. The text shall continue to be an essential resource for students of the Bible for times to come.
