In "Victorian Psycho" we follow Miss Notty during her stay at the Fonds as a governess for their adolescent daughter and their young son. However, we quickly pick up that Miss Notty is a little strange - and definetely a little bloodthirsty. During her stay as a governess, she increasingly transforms into the ghost that haunts this victorian mansion. The book (and many of its characters) ends on a particularly bloody Christmas Day. "Victorian Psycho" has captured me through its gruesome language and vivid imagery. If you're looking for a gorey horror book, this is the read for you.

Dieses Buch hat mich gefressen und wieder ausgespuckt; auf die beste Art und Weise. Ich habe Nichts erwartete und Alles bekommen! Das typische Gothic Herrenhaus Setting trifft auf Horror und Gore moderner Slasher, wobei es der tolle Schreibstil und der tiefschwarze Humor nicht zulassen, das Buch auch nur eine Sekunde wegzulegen.
